Hello, San Clemente!

I'm Angela, a devoted mom of two, a passionate entrepreneur, and an ultra-marathoner who calls the beautiful city of San Clemente home. My journey here began 8 years ago when my family and I moved to plant deeper roots for our family-owned surf business, Slyde Handboards. Some of you might even recall our exciting venture on Shark Tank where we earned the support of investors like Mark Cuban and Ashton Kutcher!

Family is at the heart of everything I do. My children have thrived at San Clemente Preschool and Las Palmas Elementary School, where my oldest is currently enjoying first grade. You might spot me on a typical day running along our scenic beach trail, walking my daughter to school, or sharing moments with my family at local favorites like Bear Coast or High Tide Coffee. Our weekends are often spent surfing at Linda Lane Beach or enjoying the outdoors at Linda Lane Park or T-Street.

My Commitment to Safety and Community

My path to seeking a seat on the city council was unexpected but deeply personal. Over the past 18 months, Las Palmas Elementary School faced three serious safety threats that put our children at risk and resulted in lockdowns. This alarming situation propelled me to action. I established the Las Palmas Safety Committee and led a community-wide petition for improved safety measures, including better fencing around our school. I am proud to say that we succeeded in making these critical improvements, ensuring a safer environment for our kids.

The success of this initiative showed me the powerful impact of proactive community involvement. It highlighted the importance of having representatives on the city council who are not only aware of local issues but are also ready to tackle them head-on.

Why I'm Running

San Clemente deserves a representative who isn't afraid to take on tough challenges and advocate tirelessly for our community’s needs. I am running to be that voice for District 3, to ensure that our neighborhoods are safe, our businesses can thrive, and our children can grow up in a community that cares deeply about their well-being.

I never imagined I would run for public office, but I am motivated by a strong desire to contribute more to the place we all love and call home. Let's work together to make San Clemente an even better place to live for our families and future generations.

I am eager to bring my dedication, experience, and passion to the city council, where I can serve you and our community. Together, we can face any challenge and achieve great things.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to meeting many of you as I campaign around our district.

Let’s make a difference together!
